Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support cloud and locally hosted solutions that facilitate ease of service deployment, availability, and operations
• Continuously improve processes and infrastructure to be easy to deploy, scalable, secure, and fault-tolerant
• Automate operational, testing, installation, and other processes to increase efficiency stability
• Work collaboratively with Customer Success, Engineering, QA, SRE, and Product Management to resolve complex operational issues and deliver value
• Provide documentation on how to resolve issues in complex systems
• Build CI/CD solutions to improve developer productivity and rapid deployments
• Collaborate with the team to establish DevOps best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of DevOps experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
• Can effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Strong scripting experience such as Python or Shell/Bash
• Experience with building automation/dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle, CMake
• Experience with infrastructure management and deployment using Ansible
• Experience with container technologies like Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Linux, Windows, and MacOS operating system management
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, Postgres
• Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Ability to use current industry trends and best practices to construct solutions
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve

Any of the following is a strong bonus

• Familiarity with cloud data center providers such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Oracle, etc
• Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning tools, like Terraform
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions, like Prometheus, Datadog
• Experience with log management, such as EFK/ELK stack
• Experience with iOS and Android ecosystems
